ordered some new books today - the king in yellow, slaughterhouse 5 and the road. especially excited to read the king in yellow, seems cool from what i know about it.
/////////////////////////////////////////////// ///////////////////////////////////////////////been playing around with a bunch of blender plugins, there's one that generates realistic water shaders which is cool. really resource heavy though. found a sweet way to make chains in blender, just a bunch of toruses stacked on each other with the top one having collisions enabled so the rest of the chain links hang down from it. i've yet to find a use for it though lol.
/////////////////////////////////////////////// ///////////////////////////////////////////////looking forward to the next part of fred again's USB album. i really like the general concept where he's adding songs to the album over long periods of time so it's kind of like an actual USB drive for his dj sets. pretty neat.
/////////////////////////////////////////////// ///////////////////////////////////////////////i've been in the mood for live jams lately, just gotta get my synths set up. i have an itch for chopping disco tracks in real time and making loops. been wanting a 909 clone for some time might just get the RD9 soon. need a compressor for it tho, im not a huge fan of the vanilla sound (except the kick which is awesome always). my girlfriend is behind me while im writing this eating a pickle. she says hi. anyways, need a reverb pedal too cause i want to try no input mixing and some more ambient-y stuff.

did this in blender last night and i hate it. good practice though. kinda reminds me of beeple and those dumbass NFTs.
i then ran it through photoshop to try and salvage what i could and ended up with this result:
looks a bit more interesting but still sucks. oh well.
