i got this cute little penguin archive edition of "the shadow out of time" by h.p. lovecraft, so in honor of the part where we get a glimpse into the old ones' habitat via the dream sequence, i made this animation. the dream describes huge structures and giant gardens inhabited by otherworldly creatures. the sense of scale gave me such a surreal feeling, i tried to replicate it in this animation. sound design for this one was fun. lots of whale sounds layered on top of drones and tubular bells and winds and plane sounds and risers....
